Naw I remember my band director showed us freshmen a videotape of the previous year of our band in a botb showcase- they played the wrong intro song in the halftime performance and he made them walk off the field… turned and told us freshmen he will embarrass us before he embarrass himself😂😂😂

You have to watch 2008 Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps. It’s their Spartacus show!

This is why I love play for GAMB. I was sooooo amped up when this was pulled out. This show was one of my favorite anime growing up and you never skip the intro in my house.

In 2013 I had just moved to California, and one of the first shows of the drum corps season every year is at Stanford University and Carolina Crown happened to be at that show. It was the first drum corps my partner and I went to together, and got to see that show live. I can tell you that even early in the season, the atmosphere in the crowd was electric after that opener, even at the home show for their main competition (the Blue Devils). I thought to myself "This is a championship show", and it sure was.

Before having my first contacts with the universe of marching bands at HBCU, I got to know a little about DCI, and I thought it was fantastic due to the quality of the work performed by the musical groups, I consider them to be theatrical musical groups that put on shows with musical themes and personalized arrangements or musical adaptations, but compared to the vibration, power and especially the peculiar sound of the Giant and fantastic marching bands, they cannot deliver the emotion that is conveyed by a wind section with 100, 150 or more young musicians, as happens with the bands of HBCU march, these keep the flame of the fantastic Marching Bands alive!!!!!!!!👏❤️‍🔥👏❤️‍🔥👏❤️‍🔥👏❤️‍🔥👏❤️‍🔥👏

I’m hbcu bands all day but I’m now in a corp style band in high school now and it’s more fun than I thought I respect the work them dci boys put in.
